Through the years, The Hayride has provided Panola County with an outlet for folks to enjoy good old-fashioned, wholesome, family entertainment.  It’s a place where young and aspiring artists, musicians, and entertainers have the opportunity to “get their feet wet” playing with a live band and performing on stage. 

Texas has many of these “opry style” musical shows throughout the state, but none quite like The Hayride.  The Esquire Theatre hosts two different live bands that rotate the Saturday night shows each month.  Each one with their own unique style and specific genre.

• 2nd Saturday: Dusty Boots with featured guests.  A traditional style country and western band that features warm harmonies, tele pickin’, and a cryin’ steel guitar.  Also, if you’re gonna play in Texas, you gotta have a fiddle in the band...  This band’s got one of those too.

• 4th Saturday: Southern Impact with featured guests.  If your musical taste is a bit more rowdy, this may be the band for you.  Southern Impact performs a blend of Southern Rock, Classic Rock, Outlaw Country, Traditional, and Texas Country.  With powerful vocals, chicken’ pickin’ guitar players,  a country "peeyaner",and a hard rockin’ drummer, this band has a fun and unique sound.

• 5th Saturday: Souled Out Gospel Band with featured guests. A mixture of your classic gospel favorites with contemporary praise and worship. Get ready to feel the Spirit through song!  You'll leave feeling like you've been to church!
